Any violation will result in automatic disqualification.
All participants are subject to a polygraph test.

Good sportsmanship is expected of all individuals during the tournament.
Any disorderly conduct will be ample reason for disqualification. Need not be a member to fish tournaments

Entry fees must be received via mail 5 days prior to tournament,(after that a $15.00 late fee will be applied to all U.S.-C.A.T.S tournaments - NOT DISTRCTS).  Also you can register at the tournament (cash only).

Need not to be a member to fish.

 2008: Entry fees: $150.00 (U.S.-C.A.T.S tournament only)

 $10.00 Big fish pot included in tournaments.

 

  Third person in the boat will be allowed if they are

1) Age 65 or older

2) Age 16 and under

 

Any team with a third team member will be limited to a total of 6 rods & reels in their boat, (or as allowed by State rules. There may not be any extra rod & reels in boat.

 

May sign up morning of tournament - CASH ONLY!

NO EXCEPTIONS! CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!

NO REFUNDS will be made.

 

A $15.00 late fee will be applied to all entries received 5 days prior to tournament date and day of tournament.

RULES

1) All State and Federal rules will be observed.

2) Tournament Hours: 7AM - 4PM. All participants must be at check in point by 6:30AM (Unless scheduled differently).

3) One participant of each team MUST be present at meeting held prior to take off. If fishing by yourself than you must be present. No exceptions.

4) There will be a livewell check prior to take off. Ribbons will be handed to participants after the livewell check.

5) All boats must be at weigh in (or ramp) by 4PM*.  There will be no exceptions to this rule. (* Unless Tournament hours are scheduled differently).

6) No snagging will be allowed.

7) Life vest must be worn at take off.

8) All tournament boats must maintain a distance of 100 yards between each other.  Flags or ribbons must be displayed while anchored. If fishing out of the boat, you must be  within 150 feet of boat.

9) A maximum of 10 fish per boat will be weighed in. There may not be any extra fish in livewell. If there are more than 10 fish in livewell at weigh in this will result in disqualification. Fish must be a minimum length of 14". One dead fish will be allowed per boat at weigh in. No culling of fish at weigh in.

10) No alcoholic beverages allowed during tournaments hours.

11) All children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.

12) Fish can only be caught by Rod and Reel method. No foul hooked fish will be accepted. A maximum of 3 rods per person will be allowed, (or as State rules). There may never be more than 3 rods per person allowed, even if State rule allows more. (You may have extra rod & reels in boat).

13) We will allow a third person in the boat, that person must be 16 or younger/ 65 or older. Any team with a third team member will be limited to a total of 6 rods & reels in their boat. Or as allowed by State rules.

14) Ties will be decided by tournament committee.

15) No chumming.  No fishing intentionally baited holes.

16) Any protests must be made within 40 minutes of weigh-in time. We will not accept any protests thereafter.

17) This is a catch and release tournament. All live fish must be released. They may not be taken home with tournament participants.

18) All entry fees must be received 5 days prior to tournament date.

NOTE: There will be someone at the weigh in site throughout the tournament. If you have a large fish or fish that will not survive until 4 pm, you may bring your fish to be weighed and recorded. We will then release the fish and you can continue to fish. Once the weight has been recorded and the amount of fish you may not cull when you come back in.

Please, note if you have fish that you feel will not survive until weigh in time bring them in so they can be weighed and released. That is why we have someone at weigh in. So that the fish can be released with least amount of stress and a successful survival rate.
