
A violation may result in automatic disqualification.
Participants may be
subject to a polygraph or voice stress test.
Good sportsmanship is expected of all individuals during the tournament.
Any disorderly conduct will be ample reason for disqualification.
You do not need to
be a member to fish the tournaments.
1)
All State and Federal rules will be observed.
2) Tournament hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00
PM unless it is a night tournament or times are scheduled differently (see
the tournament schedule). All participants should be at the launch site by
6:00 AM. We will conduct a live well check prior to take off.
3) One member of each team must be
present at the meeting to be held prior to take off at approximately 6:30
AM.
4) All boats must be at weigh in site
(or boat ramp) by 4:00 PM unless scheduled differently. Being late will
result in automatic disqualification.
5) Entry order is the order of take off
boats will be released at 5 to 10 second intervals. Life vests (PFD`S)
must be worn at take off.
6) No snagging, taking of fish from
lines or from non contestants will be allowed.
7) No chumming or fishing known
intentionally baited holes by contestants or non contestants.
8) All Tournament boats must maintain a
minimum distance of 50 yards (150 feet) between each other and from
non contestants. All fishing must take place from the boat.
9) A maximum of 5 fish per team will be
weighed in and only one fish can be dead. If there is more than 5 fish in
your possession at weigh in, you may be disqualified. Fish must be a minimum
length of 14 inches, channel cat, blue cat or flathead only.

The fish must be caught by rod and reel method only. Each contestant may
fish with a maximum of 3 rods, unless State law allows less than 3. There
never be more than 6 rods fished at one time (this also applies to a 3
person team) regardless of State law, but you may have more rods in the
boat.
11) We will allow a third person in the
boat, but that person must be 16 years or younger or 65 years or older. A 3
person team can only fish with 6 rods at one time. All contestants 16 years
old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.
12) In the event of a tie, the winner
will be determined by big fish, or a method to be determined by the
tournament director.
13) Any protests must be made in
writing within 20 minutes of the weigh in deadline, none will be accepted
there after. The tournament director will resolve all protests.
14)
No alcoholic beverages are allowed during tournament hours, at the weigh in
or at the awards ceremony.
15) This a catch and release
tournament. All live healthy fish must be released. Dead fish or unhealthy
fish may be removed from the premises at he direction of the tournament
director only.

PRINTED MATERIAL MAY HAVE THEM IN A DIFFERENT ORDER. STATEMENTS MADE THE DAY
OF THE TOURNAMENT WILL TAKE PRESIDINCE OVER THESE RULES.

PLACES, UNLESS THERE ARE LESS THAN 10 TEAMS OR MORE THAN 25 TEAMS--------10$
BIG FISH POT IS INCLUDED IN THE ENTRY FEE, AND PAYS BACK 100%. THE
ENTRY FEES VARY FOR EACH TOURNAMENT, SEE THE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE FOR THE
ENTRY FEE AMOUNT.
